Terms & Conditions
Agreement and Services
This agreement outlines the terms under which World View Websites (“we,” “our,” or “us”) will provide web design and related services to the client (“you” or “client”). Our services include website design, domain setup, SEO optimization, website maintenance, and other agreed-upon deliverables. We commit to delivering high-quality work tailored to your business needs.
Payment Terms
You agree to pay for services as outlined in the invoice, including an upfront 50% deposit and the remaining 50% upon project completion for website packages. Website maintenance plans and domain renewals are billed monthly or annually, depending on the package chosen. Failure to pay invoices on time may result in suspension or termination of services. Payment can be through our invoices or with checks and cash.
Domain Ownership and Renewal
Domains are registered for one year unless renewed. If you choose to have us manage your domain, we will handle all renewals and send you invoices accordingly. If you prefer to manage your domain yourself, you will be responsible for renewal payments directly. If the domain renewal is not paid, it can result in website suspension or termination. To fully own and manage your domain, you will need to create a free Namecheap account if the domain was registered through us. Additionally, failure to renew the website will shut it down.
Cancellation and Termination
Either party may cancel this agreement in writing. If cancellation occurs after work has begun, the initial deposit is non-refundable. Monthly website maintenance plans can be canceled with seven days’ notice. Failure to pay for domain renewals or ongoing maintenance may lead to termination of the website and associated services.
Privacy and Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and will keep all personal and business information confidential. We will not share your information with any third parties without your permission, except where required by law or to fulfill our service obligations. All personal information put onto the website is approved through you prior to the website going live.
Dispute Resolution
Should any disputes arise, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to mediation or arbitration prior to any legal proceedings to maintain professionalism and reduce costs.
Project Timeline and Delivery
We will provide an estimated timeline based on the project scope, usually around 1-3 weeks depending on the package. While we strive to meet deadlines, delays may occur due to client responsiveness, unforeseen issues, or scope changes. Your timely feedback and provision of required materials help us avoid delays.
Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for supplying all necessary content, including text, images, logos, and other materials. Prompt communication and approval of drafts are essential to keep your project on schedule. Delays or additional fees may occur if materials or approvals are not provided in a timely manner. If opted to not go on the care plan, website and domain renewal will be on you after the first year.
Contractual Agreement
By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. All projects require a signed contract before work begins to protect both parties and ensure clear expectations.
